TIE PREVIEW
Chile and Austria last met in Davis Cup 50 years ago with the Chileans winning in Vienna. In fact the South American nation has won both previous Davis Cup meetings.

Both nations lost in this year's World Group first round - Chile to Croatia, while Austria fell to Germany - so are bidding to retain their status among the 16-team elite.

Chile defeated Australia in last year's World Group Play-offs to return to the elite after a year in Americas Group I, while this is the 6th consecutive year that Austria has lost its first round tie and had to take part in the World Group Play-offs.
